Bonnie Schott
Bonnie's love and devotion toward animals began while growing up on a farm in Michigan. Her compassionate people skills were developed and honed in the banking field from 1978 to 1988. She began her training and career in the veterinary field in 1989 and continued to assist in both large and small animal medicine at Rooker Veterinary Hospital in Michigan until 2000. Joining our health care team in early 2002, she brings experience in client services, veterinary assistance, animal care, and horse training, racing, and showing. Bonnie is responsible for the smooth operations of Dynamite Animal Hospital benefiting our clients and our healthcare team by enabling us to focus solely on our patients. Bonnie proudly enjoys having raised a son and a daughter and has 2 beautiful grandchildren. Her family also includes both feline and canine pet family members. Additionally, for over 20 years, Bonnie has raised Arabian Horses for racing , showing, and trail riding. |

Christina Blake
Christina is part of our veterinary technical support team. She lived in Cleveland, Ohio for most of her life until moving to the Phoenix area in 2001. Christina joined the staff here at Dynamite Animal Hospital in the summer of 2008 and brought over 12 years of experience as a veterinary technician to our clinic. Outside our hospital, her large household includes her husband, 4 children, 5 cats, and 1 dog. She loves outdoor activities including camping, fishing, and hiking, as well as spending time with her family and friends.

John Wieckhorst
John was born in Wantagh, NY and started working in kennels at age 15. In 1974, he started working for a professional handler in Baltimore, MD and began traveling the country showing dogs. In 1978, he began his experience in veterinary medicine working in animal hospitals in New York until 1981 when he moved to Phoenix and worked for a mobile grooming service. He moved back east a few years later and opened up a boarding kennel at the Jersey Shore. During that time, John raised and showed miniature wire-haired Dachshunds, worked with a Dachshund rescue, and the Seeing Eye Inc. of Morristown, NJ. After 20 years in the kennel business he retired and returned to work in animal clinics and ultimately moved back to Phoenix. He is now part of the technical team at Dynamite Animal Hospital. He has 2 miniature long-haired Dachshunds and a Cairn Terrier. He spends his free time with this wife of 25 years and 3 great sons and likes to travel, fish, kayak, and sail. |

Shannon Cress
Shannon grew up here in Arizona and joined the Dynamite Animal Hospital’s veterinary technical staff in 2007. She has been working in the veterinary profession since 2003, including experience in the field of equine veterinary medicine. She has 3 dogs, including Labrador Retrievers, which she trains for field trials. Shannon’s other hobbies includes hiking, camping, and boating. |

Jackie Allen
Jackie, a native of Indiana, is a member of the customer service staff in our clinic. She moved from Louisville, Kentucky to the Scottsdale area in 2002. Jackie joined our team at Dynamite Animal Hospital after retiring from a long career in advertising. An animal lover, her desire was to work in a professional setting that would allow her the opportunity to assist in the care of dogs and cats. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys cooking and hanging out with her 3 dogs. Also, she is a huge KISS and Indianapolis Colts fan. |

Heather Oaks
Heather is a member of the technical staff at Dynamite Animal Hospital. She was born and raised in El Dorado, KS and spent 13 years in Florida before moving to Arizona in 2006. Heather has been working with animals since high school when she firstworked on a Quarter Horse farm. In college, she began working in an animal clinic and ultimately completed veterinary technical school in Florida. She has considerable experience in both large and small animal veterinary practice. Her family includes an Australian Shephard, Kharma, a cat named Sierra, and 2 Arabian horses. In her spare time, Heather works with her horses, both showing and trail riding, as well as spending time with her family. |

Dale Harris
Dale is originally from the northeastern part of the United States but has been in Arizona long enough to be considered a native. Her role here at Dynamite Animal Hospital is that of a part-time groomer. Dale has over 25 years in the grooming industry including owning 2 grooming salons, a mobile grooming service, and a licensed grooming school (where she also taught). She has a German Rottweiler and enjoys her spare time in buying and selling antiques, investing in real estate, sewing, crafts, and cooking. She and her husband also love to spend time with their children and grandchildren. |

Dakota Langaker
Dakota, a native of Brooklyn, New York is a member of our animal care assistant staff. She has gained valuable and interesting experience as an owner of all types of pets including dogs, cats, goats, snakes, turtles, scorpions, rabbits, chameleons, and fish! When not tending to the needs of her extension menagerie, Dakota enjoys dancing, riding ATVs, and doing artwork. Currently attending community college classes, her future plans include becoming a cosmetologist, or possibly, a pet groomer, as well as doing volunteer work in an animal rescue center. |

Chelsea Silk
Chelsea is a senior at Cactus Shadows High School and has lived in Arizona all of her life. She has been around and involved with animals her whole life. Chelsea's family raises and trains Paint horses and she has been competing in team penning and sorting for six years with Maricopa County 4H. She is the current president of the Rio Verde 4H. Chelsea has 4 horses, 2 dogs, and one hamster of her own. Her hobbies when not working are horseback riding, camping, and riding ATV's. She is planning to become a veterinarian.
